Como cuidar das Rosas

Bolamos algumas dicas para ajudar você a cuidar das rosas em casa.

1) Não deixe as folhas inferiores dentro d´água.

2) Trocar diariamente a água e ao mesmo tempo cortar em diagonal 2 cm da base.

3) Borrifar sempre que possível as rosas e as folhas.

4) Deixar as rosas em lugar arejado, nunca na corrente de ar.

5) Se possível colocar 1/2 colher das de café de água sanitária em mais ou menos 1 litro d´água.

It’s (not) all about me

Why a blog ? The answer is that although I think the internet is a wonderful place to meet people, it is not very easy or simple to give a realistic idea of who you really are. There are so many different aspects to a person; family, the house one lives in, lifestyle, hobbies, kids, tastes, habits, finances, travels, likes and dislikes and so much more !

This blog is for you to get to know me a bit better; here you will see my house, meet my family, watch some videos about my life…..it never substitutes a face to face meeting, but it is more real than e-mails or phone calls. I hope you enjoy it and after taking a look please let me know what you think, I am open to suggestions, criticism, new ideas or comments.

My name is Vivian, I live in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I am 55 years old and I live in a house on the southern side of the city, in an area called Brooklin. Sao Paulo as you probably know, is one of the largest cities in the world, 400 km away from beautiful Rio de Janeiro, similar to the distance between San Francisco and Los Angeles. Sao Paulo is a major business hub in South America, a very cosmopolitan city.

Here you can see where I live; if you click on the photo you will see a large black arrow on the left side, which points to the exact position where my house is located.

I have two kids, they are both living in Europe; Bruna (25) lives in Copenhagen and Christian (24) is finishing college in the same city.

I live at home with my dog, Tchai, and our long time live-in maid, Dilma; don’t be impressed, many middle class families have maids in Brazil. Dilma is like a part of the family as she has been with us for almost 30 years and helped raise the kids; she cooks wonderfully and is like a second mother to Bruna and Kiko (we call Christian, Kiko).

Tchai is our beagle and he must be one of the dumbest dogs in the world, but we love him nevertheless !
